We specialise in forestry within sensitive areas both directly within our local area of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We are also the preferred contractor for a number of local Wildlife Trusts’ within Sites of Special Scientific Interest SSSI where specific management measures are required in order to protect ground fauna and other species within the woodland community.

We are advocates of a more sustainable approach towards site clearance projects. All waste is chipped using our crane fed whole tree chipper. The end product is a G30 grade biomass which is then removed from site and used for the production

At Ben Nicholson Tree Services Ltd we have invested sensibly in the best plant and equipment available. This includes several excavators mounted with tree shear and grab saw attachments, Sennebogen 718 and 728 tree handlers with up to 22m reach which allow us to mechanically dismantle trees with far greater speed and accuracy than our competitors. Mechanical tree removal is much safer than conventional methods such as section felling, and the likelihood of damage to surrounding retainable trees and obstacles is completely eliminated.
